Capacitor and Holographic: Magical metal patterns on thin foils |
||||
|
Leybold is the great brand name in web coating. Reinforced with the takeover of Kontex Technologies in 2003, Leybold Optics has become the undisputed market leader in the field of metalizing systems for capacitor foils, both in terms of technological leadership as well as in number of installed systems. One example is “SuperBias”, a revolutionary system, consisting of electron beam guns and two plasma-cathodes. The foil will be charged by the electron beam gun before the coating process, with the goal to reach the maximum adhesion of the substrate onto the cooled process-roller and to transfer the thermal load efficiently. After coating the foil is re-conditioned via a plasma cathode treatment. Questions, inquiries, comments? Get in touch with us at |

The DISS Dual In-Situ Sensor is a combination of one line sensor for layer thickness measurement and one line sensor for the measurement of free margins in one chassis. more... |
The free margin oil evaporator is used to process continuous, non-metalized margins with a constant width in machine direction. The quantity of margins in transverse direction and the width of the margins depend on the respective product. more... |
The pattern printing system is used to produce special, segmented, film capacitors. The major difference compared with the processes of the general printing industry is the transfer of oil instead of paint. more... |
