Reifenhäuser is LEYBOLD's distributor in India
The latest vacuum technique is the business that LEYBOLD OPTICS (LO) deals in. Car head lights, sun glasses, or any flexible materials - the company, based in Alzenau, Germany, is a world-renowned specialist for coatings. China is the most important market for LEYBOLD's Web Coating department. There alone, sixteen systems have been sold during the last twelve months, thus increasing the sales figures by more than 100 per cent. Despite being quite satisfied with these results, LEYBOLD's management is now endeavoring to open up new markets: India is a very promising region to aim at. Three systems were already sold there.
Reifenhäuser is LEYBOLD's distributor in India. 'We are convinced of this agency's competence. After all, it has been representing some of the leading manufacturers of the plastics and packaging industry in India for years', says LO product manager Niels Kuhr. The partner's knowledge of the market is especially valuable for LEYBOLD since the agency will be the first people for the customers to contact.
There are many good arguments in favor of buying a LO system. Flexibility, speed and an economic mode of operation - this is what the systems made in Alzenau stand for. The Web Coating segment is also dedicated to these principles. With their series of coating systems, Cap-M and Pro-M, the engineers have created facts that cannot be overlooked by the manufacturers of packaging or capacitor films. LEYBOLD proves that innovation does not rule out an easy handling of a system, high-speed throughput does not necessarily mean high maintenance.
