DynaLine: Market leader completes its portfolio with an In-Line system

Alzenau, 04/2006

LEYBOLD OPTICS (LO) is continually increasing its position as the market leader in the Reflection & Protection segment. The company based in Alzenau, Germany, is now presenting an In-Line system for the coating of molded parts. DynaLine is a further development of the well-known DynaMet family. These systems distinguish themselves by extremely short cycle times. Their maximum performance becomes possible thanks to highly-productive cathode sputtering. The new system now makes LO the only manufacturer worldwide to offer a complete program - from a conventional batch system up to a five-chamber In-Line system.

DynaLine is designed for customers in need of an efficient system with high throughput and short cycle times. The new system from Alzenau now allows the classical In-Line production with a separate loading and unloading area. When DynaLine is integrated into a production line, small and big three-dimensional molded parts can be coated at very reasonable cost. The first new systems belonging to this family are due to go into operation for our customers as early as this autumn.

With DynaLine, up to five work processes are carried out synchronously. True to the LEYBOLD OPTICS philosophy, maintenance requirements are very low. On our customers' special wishes, the system can also be built with just four chambers, which makes DynaLine one of the most flexible systems on the market.
