Systems for capacitor or packaging applications or solutions for the automotive and lighting industries: A lot has happened at LEYBOLD OPTICS (LO) during the past month. From 9 through 14 February LO now presents its latest trendsetting technologies at Plastindia 2006 exhibition in New Delhi.
Apart from various new developments, LEYBOLD OPTICS is once again showing some coating systems that are already well-known to the industry. In the Web segment, LEYBOLD OPTICS is presenting its new generation of Cap-M, the world’s leading platform for the coating of capacitor films. Due to its flexibility it offers customers great competitive advantages. For manufacturing packaging films, the Alzenau based company also offers a masterpiece: Pro-M now convinces with still more technical refinements and combines a lot of options, substrates, and processes just on a single platform.
The AluMet (thermal evaporation of aluminum on molded parts), the DynaMet and the PylonMet families of systems (metallizing of complex or large three-dimensional molded parts) are well-known names for customers from the automotive and lighting industries. Hundreds of the AluMet systems are operating all around the world. These machines allow highest quality at low production costs. Depending on the type, DynaMet has up to four work stations. Maximum performance comes true by a highly effective sputtering cathode. It can run fully automatically and even service is quickly and easily carried out. And finally: PylonMet. Thanks to its high throughput just-in-time manufacturing with perfect results becomes easy. PylonMet offers various processes that can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
