Custom-made systems: Pro-M is core of WEIFU's new production line
Alzenau, 03/2005
A further web coating system of the Pro-M type has successfully been sold to China. Liang Weixiong, Business Director of WEIFU Packing Material in Puning, in the Chinese province of Guangdong, watched and approved its factory acceptance test at LEYBOLD OPTICS (LO) in Alzenau.
Like other LEYBOLD systems, Pro-M is based on a variable component structure. Custom-made systems at favourable prices are the result of this policy. Here Pro-M is among those systems that offer the greatest number of varieties. Coating materials on a polypropylene basis (CPP and BOPP), polyester (PET), or paper - Pro-M has many talents. Customers are not limited in the choice of their coating materials either: whether they use aluminium or aluminium oxide - the system does not mind.
"We consider LEYBOLD OPTICS to be a capable and professional partner in order to meet our business goals in the CPP metallizing industry", says Weixiong. The Pro-M he has now approved is to do its duty as the core of a new production line in Puning from July this year. “We are honoured and excited about this key customer in the packaging market. This project is a further proof of our outstanding position in the arena of film and paper metallization", Peter Wohlfahrt, director of LO’s web coating divison is pleased to say.
