The coating of flexible materials requires adaptable, fast and economical systems. All these properties have always been firmly linked with the name of LEYBOLD OPTICS (LO). At K’ 2004 the Alzenau based company now presents Pro-M, a system for the coating of packaging films.
LO stands for innovative concepts that above all convince the customer with their details. Thus, the latest development of the ‘Web Coating’ division does not only offer reliability and easy handling in a combination that is unique in the market, but also some technical refinements. Pinhole-free or transparent barrier coatings round off Leybold’s range of products.
Our customers appreciate this competence: Leybold’s most important market for the division ‘Web Coating’ is China. During the last twelve months the company has sold 24 systems there. This is an increase in sales figures of 400 per cent.
