LEYBOLD OPTICS sells its 400. Coating System for Ophthalmics

LEYBOLD OPTICS announces the delivery of its 400th.coating system for ophthalmic lenses. The ma-chine, purchased by E.N.O.T. of the Netherlands, is one of the new Boxer systems.
E.N.O.T., based in Amsterdam, is a long established and well-known company within the ophthalmic optics, and this is the 34th coating machine they have installed since 1954.
The coating system Boxer offers ultimate flexibility in production and is suitable for economic coating of both prescription and stock lenses.
Modern process technology, innovative design, reliability, and the extensive LEYBOLD OPTICS service support network were the key factors in this purchase.
The installation of the 400th machine demonstrates LEYBOLD OPTICS´ position as a world-leading manufacturer of thin film coating systems for optical applications.
